Frequently Asked Questions

What age of children qualify for boxes from Topaz Fairy Project?

Ages 5-12 are eligible to receive a box from Topaz. Children below this age are generally not capable of comprehending a fairy sending them a package to help encourage them. Exceptions can be made, contacting Topaz directly will be the best bet to find out if a child is eligible.

What situations are typically a good fit for Topaz Fairy Project?

Topaz Fairy Project is meant for children going through trauma and severe hardship. This is a child-centered program, meaning situations that focus on the child are considered for eligibility. Situations focused on parents (financial hardship, being a single parent, etc.) are not eligible. Parent divorce is typically not eligible- while we have empathy for children in this situation, TFP believes this is a family-centered issue that should be talked about within a family rather than from a fairy.

If a situation doesn’t seem like a good fit for a Topaz Fairy Box, a child could still receive a letter from Topaz Fairy to encourage and compliment them!
